ABRSM Grade 8 Theory (application deadline extended to 30 Sep)

Content: This course prepares students to sit for the ABRSM Grade 8 Theory exam.

Remarks:

  • The fee does not include textbook or examination fee
  • Applicants should obtain a passing grade in ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Examination

Intermediate Choral Conducting (application deadline extended to 30 Sep)

Instructor: Mr King Chan (MMus Choral Conducting)
Dates: 8/11, 15/11, 29/11, 6/12 (Sat, 4 lessons in total)
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Venue: Ming Hua Theological College
Target Students: Suitable for choral conductors with 1-2 years of experience
Content: This course focuses on developing the essential skills required to conduct easy to intermediate-level choral works that are suitable for church services. In addition to conducting gestures, the course will also cover effective rehearsal techniques.

Fee: $1200

Remarks:

  • This course only accepts a maximum of 8 active students, observing students are not accepted
  • Priority is given to choirmasters from HKSKH churches and parishes, and to those who have completed Ming Hua Theological College’s Fundamental Choral Conducting course

  • Under normal circumstances, no refund will be offered once the student pays the lesson fee
  • Except for 1) severe weather; 2) instructor illness; or 3) other force majeure reasons, we will not arrange make-up classes
